Nestled in the heart of historic Hagerstown, Maryland, the Inn on Potomac Bed & Breakfast is within an hour's drive from Washington DC, Harrisburg, PA, and Baltimore, Maryland, and close to the Antietam Battlefield and the Prime Outlets.

The bed and breakfast will exceed all of your expectations. All of the rooms in this 100 year old home are furnished in period furniture (some authentic and some reproductions), antiques, and incredible art work that will have you imagining a time gone by. You’ll climb the staircase to the second floor where you’ll enter your elegant room with it’s private bath. After kicking off your shoes, you’ll find a comfortable chair to sink into or you might wander downstairs for a glass of wine to sit in the parlor and read the newspaper. For dinner, you can walk downtown to enjoy one of Hagerstown’s wonderful restaurants.

After a peaceful night’s slumber in one of the comfortable beds with it's down comforter, you’ll begin your day in our beautiful dining room with a sumptuous hot breakfast. You may be served French Toast, Belgian Waffles or a wonderful breakfast casserole – no matter what, your taste buds will be satisfied and you’ll be ready to begin your Hagerstown experience.

You may decide to spend the day shopping at the nearby Prime Outlets or wandering through historic Antietam Battlefield. You may decide to spend your day at the Tranquility Salon and Spa which is co-located with the Inn. There you can get a therapeutic massage, take a steam shower, get a facial, manicure and/or pedicure, or utilize a half or full-day package and get pampered beyond belief. The Day Spa offers discounted rates for Inn guests. Or, you may just decide to take it easy and sit on the porch with a good book and your favorite beverage. Whatever you decide to do during your stay at the Inn on Potomac, it turns into a special event.

We now have four rooms open.

Each room in the Inn has it's own private bath, private entrance, and is decorated with turn-of-the century period furniture.

In all the rooms you will find cozy down comforters on the queen size beds, oriental rugs spread over the original hardwood floors, ceiling fans, large windows with the original wood shutters, and thirsty 100% cotton towels and bathrobes for all guests.

Each room at the Inn features paintings by local artists.

The Beige Suite
This suite has everything you could possibly want during your respite from the real world; a Jacuzzi tub, a sitting room, and a large comfortable bed.

The Gold Room
The large bay window distinguishes this room. Filled with sunshine and beautiful furniture, you'll forget your troubles and finally relax.

The Red Room
The quaintest of the rooms features an iron bed, antique wicker furniture, and a claw foot bathtub for your soaking pleasure.

The Green Room
This first floor room features a Victorian era bed, dresser and nightstand and lots of privacy.

Rates are per evening, double occupancy. A full, cooked-to-order breakfast is included for all weekend guests (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights) and a deluxe continental breakfast is included for all weekday guests. Wine is available each evening for our guests in the parlor. Rates do not include applicable taxes.
