Inn by the Bandstand Bed & Breakfast is an award-winning Exter B&B in an historic 1809 home. We're just a couple blocks from the well-known Phillips Exeter Academy, and just 8 miles from the seacoast where you'll also find our beautiful beaches. We're also only twenty minutes from Portsmouth, too!

Our elegant Exter bed and breakfast has 9 antique-flleded guest rooms, each with private bathrooms. Each room features fine linens (including goose-down comforters and flannel sheets in the colder months), comfortable twin and queen beds, and air conditioning.

You'll also find a color television (cable TV), alarm clock, cd player, phone with dataport, and some rooms also have romantic fireplaces.

We serve a gourmet breakfast each morning, and offer hot tea, coffee, and cold spring water at any time.

If you need to keep in touch with your business or friends and family back home, bring your laptop along with you - we offer free wifi internet access in our guest rooms and throughout the house. We also have a fax machine and copier on site available for guest use.
