Gordon and Carol Watkins, both career veterans of the Hospitality Industry purchased The Inn at 410 B&B in September, 2003 in fulfillment of Gordon’s lifelong dream of owning his own inn. Gordon graduated from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration in 1974 and has worked in operations and development for major hotel companies including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Hyatt Corporation, Tishman Hotel Corp. and InterContinental Hotels and Resorts. Carol is Director of Entertainment Sales for the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles and started in the Hotel Industry in 1977 when she and Gordon restored and managed a historic 1,000 acre resort and 40-room inn in Northeastern Vermont. Together with their son, Skylar and friendly canine, Ginger, they join the entire staff in welcoming our guests to The Inn at 410!

Rates include a full gourmet breakfast for two and afternoon snacks and refreshments. Breakfast is served from 8-9 a.m. Rates are double occupancy and do not include state and local taxes of 10.118% which must be charged on all guest stays. Each additional person, child or adult, in any room shall result in an additional charge of $25 per night per person. Two-night minimum stay on weekends from April 1 to October 31 and on all major US holidays.

POLICIES

Deposit:
A full night’s deposit for a single night stay or a 50% deposit for a multiple night stay is charged to VISA or MasterCard to confirm the reservation. All balances are due in full at Check-in.

Cancellation:
Cancellation must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival for any refund of deposit and a $20 cancellation fee will be charged against all cancelled deposits. No refund will be given for reservations cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival, however, a gift certificate may be given for extenuating circumstances. For all U.S. National Holidays there is a 14-day cancellation policy.

Check-In:
4 to 6 PM. Please phone us if you are arriving after 7 p.m. to arrange for an after hours check-in. Please, no check-ins after 11 p.m. so as not to disturb other guests.

Children:
Children 5 years of age and over are welcome in Dakota Suite or Suite Nature only and an additional charge of $25 per person per night shall apply.

Smoking:
For the comfort, safety and good health of all our guests and employees, The Inn at 410 is a smoke free environment inside and out. If you cannot comply with this requirement, please do not make a reservation or register with us. No candle or incense burning is allowed anywhere at the Inn.
