Hotel Petrol Palace was fashioned from a century-old neoclassic Turkish house in the core of this fabled city - just a short walk from the historical monuments such as Blue Mosque, Santa Sophia, and the Topkapi Palace.

We offer twenty two guest rooms and 4 suites, each tastefully decorated - some with stunning postcard views. Our helpful staff is available 24 hours of the day.

Our hotel was once the first gas station of the Sultanahmet Disrict (old city) in 1950's. The station was renovated as a special class hotel and tastefully decorated.

What was once a small grocery shop is now a travel agency and change office. The small street next to the building remains the same but is now closed to the traffic. At the end of the street, you can see one of the well-known Turkish Hamams.

Every day we serve special cocktails & fresh orange juice on the tables which offer views of the Blue Mosque and Hippodrom. The owner of the station retired but his son & doughter are running the Hotel.

The building has four floors a terrace. The management is friendly. The owner is a well known family in Sultanahmet area since 1930's.

The rooms have double- or twin-beds, and facilities include private bathroom with bathtub, hair dryer, a/c, telephone, TV with international channels, and a minibar. The majority of our rooms are non-smoking - please let us know if you wish to reserve a smoking room.
