We are a small, well kept secret for visitors to Anchorage. We offer a private suite with a queen sized bed and rest couch in the master bedroom, a double bed (can sleep two), and a full size couch (can sleep one) in the sunny living room. You have a private bathroom with shower, and a fully stocked kitchenette. Your suite is separate from the owners'/operators' quarters, leaving you to come and go at your own pleasure. You have an off street parking space in the driveway.
The living room is tastefully furnished with comfortable, clean furniture, an eating area, cable television, cable internet connection, a private telephone, desk, piano, and all the sun you can absorb.
Home Suite Home Bed and Breakfast offers the solitude of a nice neighborhood with nearby walking paths just a short distance from The Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet. Walk along the wooden boardwalk and enjoy Potter's Marsh Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary - a favorite place to view the many species of waterfowl who spend the long summers in Alaska.
Perhaps your taste is better suited to being at home resting, relaxing or planning the next part of your trip. You can do that in the comfort of your own living room here at Home Suite Home Bed and Breakfast. Full spectrum daylight streams into the rooms, and you can watch cable television, watch a favorite video (video rental nearby), or just read a good book while sipping your favorite beverage. Your windows look out onto the carefully maintained garden on the property, as you take in the ever changing majesty of the Chugach Mountains.
Only a couple of blocks from the Bed and Breakfast are all the amenities one would ever need. Laundry/dry cleaning facilities, fast food restaurants, fine dining establishments, a post office, an emergency medical clinic, a dentist, a hardware store and almost any other convenience is available within walking distance.
The hosts share their quarters with three small, loveable dogs - two Dachshunds and one wire-haired Fox Terrier. Kirby, Andy and Riley will welcome you, but will not be in or near your suite of rooms. We keep the guest quarters "animal free" at all times.
Your linens are changed every third day (according to industry standards), or upon request. Bath towels are changed out every day, and your rooms will be cleaned each day.We ask that you vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. for cleaning .
A no host, Continental breakfast is served each morning at 8:00 a.m. A tray of yogurt, fresh fruit in season, a bread item, condiments, fresh milk, and fruit juice will be left in your entryway each morning. Cereal and coffee or tea are available in your room for you to prepare whenever you feel so inclined.

Cancellation:
24 hours notice required for cancellation. For less than 24 hours cancellation notice, if we are unable to re-book the room, or if you are a "no show", you will be charged the rate for one night's stay per number of persons in your party. (i.e. $115.00 double occupancy, + $25.00 per person therafter).
