Each bedroom has a remodeled bath. Tile and bamboo flooring complement the place, as well as bamboo trimming throughout the unit. Enhancing the island motif, works of local Maui artists are displayed. Quality small appliances include espresso maker, coffee grinder, juicer, Krups coffee maker, panini grill, blender, new cookware, and more.

Maalaea is a great central location for visiting Maui - we're just 15-20 minutes by car from Lahaina to the west, 5 minutes from Kihei to the south, and a short drive across the central valley to Kahului (where the airport is), Paia's quaint shopping district, and two of the great scenic drives on Maui - the road to Hana, and the drive to the summit at Haleakala.

Just a short walk from the condo is the Maui Ocean Center at Maalaea Village - the largest aquatic center in Hawaii.

There's a great whale watching spot just a couple miles away. There are great windsurfing beaches on the South Shore (in Kihei and Wailea) just 10 minutes away. Or spend an afternoon at the Shops at Wailea, a great place to look for beautiful artwork to take home with you.
