Built in 1895, Aysgarth Station has seen generations come and go; it has been a private residence and for many years provided room and board for the Greyhound Bus Drivers who came and went throughout the years. Our 100+ year old home located on a quiet side street in downtown Bar Harbor now provides guests with country comfort in a uniquely casual atmosphere. Aysgarth Station offers wonderfully comfortable rooms, full hearty country breakfasts and delightful afternoon refreshments.
FIRST FLOOR:
HENLEY - Features easy access to the dining room, an antique pineapple bed, and of course, pictures and memorabilia of Henley Regatta. Perfect for those who don't want to use stairs or plan to be early risers on the CAT Ferry.
SECOND FLOOR:
CHATSWORTH This large room features a four poster bed and a large private bathroom with bathtub and shower - as stately as the English Estate it is named after. It's location at the back of the house ensures peace and tranquility during your stay.
SKIPTON An antique iron bed and oak furnishings will entice you to dream of quiet places in a land of long ago. Just as Skipton Castle stands majestically over its sleepy market town in Yorkshire, you can view the streets and churches of Bar Harbor from the corner windows.
WHITBY - Named for the small fishing town made famous by Captain Cook and Bram Stoker, this cozy room retains a nautical feel and features an antique high-back queen-sized bed and private bathroom with large shower.
THIRD FLOOR:
TREEFALLS - Let this quiet sanctuary with antique iron bed and multi-angled eaves, serve as your romantic hide-away. Listen to the wind in the leaves and dream your stay away.
TAN HILL - Named after the highest pub in England, this room offers a wonderful view of Cadillac Mountain, an antique high-bed and bathroom with tub/shower.

Deposit:
A two (2) night paid deposit is required to hold a room. Balance due upon arrival.
Cancellation:
Deposits will be refunded, less a $20 handling fee if cancellation is received more than 14 days prior to arrival date; within 14 days, refund only if room can be rented for the entire length of your reservation. Early departures cannot be refunded unless we can fill the space for the remainder of your reservation.
