Warmly welcoming guests since 1972 Step into the Waterbury/Stowe countryside and enjoy personal attention in our mountainside Austrian chalet. Treasure a wonderful night's sleep in a comfortable bed and wake to savor the smell of freshly baked breads and muffins. Wander along the trails through our maple and pine forest. Luxuriate before a toasty, crackling fire or under the stars on our garden deck. Life here in the mountains of Vermont is slow, simple, and relaxing.
Comfortable Accommodations One first floor room and nine second-floor guest rooms furnished with antiques, comforters and quilts. Each room opens to a balcony which surrounds the Inn and provides relaxing views of the Green Mountains. Two third floor suites feature private bathrooms and their own private balconies.
Three cabins, each with a sitting area, queen-size bed, vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams and paddle fan, and forest view deck, are tucked on the mountain side along trails up in the woods. Each cabin is heated with a beautiful wood stove that burns like a fireplace. The cabins are designed for romantic getaways for two. The inn is open year around and the cabins are open from late May to the end of October.
