The Green Mountain Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located just 10 miles from downtown Asheville in beautiful Candler, North Carolina. Surrounding mountain views include Pisgah Mountain.

We offer an organic vegetarian breakfast, health and wellness retreat options for cleansing and detox, and a natural indoor environment. 

Our peaceful country location makes it easy to forget how close you are to a vibrant city life. The variety of wildlife include families of deer, wild turkeys, white squirrels and cute rabbits. Our property, at an elevation of 2200 feet, includes 4 1/2 acres of diverse land with shade trees, a Japanese Zen meditation garden, untreated grass and a bold creek.

The philosophy for our Bed and Breakfast is “Green”. Our name Green Mountain means a lot to us. Yes, we do have expansive views of green mountains and we even have a green roof. But, our main focus is bringing “Green” to the food we serve, the materials we use to build and decorate, the products we use to clean and the environment surrounding us.

All guests are invited to use the swimming pool and top-of-the-line therapeutic hot tub (sanitized without chlorine or bromine) with 5 seats and 107 jets designed to get all your achy muscles in your neck and back.

There is a great oval walking track formed by our driveway as well as Bowflex and Nordic track fitness equipment.

For those who need to stay connected or print out your flight boarding passes, we offer hi-speed wireless internet, as well as a dedicated guest computer with printer for your use during your stay.

For guest arriving late, wanting to eat at "home", or needing a meal to go, we can help.  We'll prepare a healthy lunch or dinner for here, or to go, for $15 to $20 per person.  Please reserve these meal options in advance.

We’re knowledgeable about food allergies and intolerances and can prepare your meal without wheat, gluten, dairy, peanuts, eggs, etc. with advance notice.
