Our 8 acre property offers wonderful ocean views to the south, relaxing gardens, and wide meadows with grazing llamas - check out our daily interactive llama feedings. The grounds are adjacent to state parks and old growth forests.

At Glendeven Inn Bed & Breakfast, we deliver a full 3 course breakfast to your guest room every morning, along with a copy of the San Francisco Chronicle. We also guests an evening wine hour with gourmet hors-d'ouvres. And we have a never-ending supply of warm, home-made cookies.

Glendeven Inn B&B has 10 rooms and suites to offer in four architecturally impressive buildings. We have our own art gallery too - find something here to take home as a reminder of your visit to Mendocino.

Our guest rooms include cozy fireplaces, hugely comfortable feather beds, and private decks and patios (most rooms). Our rooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of modern art and fine antiques. Our bathrooms feature luxurious EO bath amenities.

There are so many things to do here - walk out the door onto trails to Van Damme state beach, the headlands, and our own forest - connecting into the network of trails in the state forest. Mendocino is a great place for birdwatching too.

We have a greenhouse on-site too - with hanging begonias and fuchsias.

You can also walk to a number of great restaurants. And we're just five minutes by car from Mendocino village, a golf course, private tennis courts, botanical gardens, kayaking, and some great whale watching spots.

We have staff available from 7:30 am-7:30 pm, and a Culinary Academy (SF) trained chef in our kitchen. Our hosts know the area inside and out, and will be happy to make suggestions and answer questions about the Mendocino coast.

The original farmhouse was constructed in 1867, and the property was converted into an inn in 1977.

The original barn and carriage house were converted to house guests, and a new building, and the Stevenscroft building was added in the '80’s.

John and Mike have been together since '97. They purchased Glendeven Inn in 2007, and would love to welcome you to beautiful Mendocino.
