The Gilded Lily is situated at 4 Claremont Park, a quiet residential side street in Boston's Historic South End. The neighborhood is celebrated for its rich Victorian row house architecture and extends over 500 acres. It is populated with many chic restaurants and boutique shops and is immediately adjacent to Boston's Back Bay, Fenway, Bay Village and Beacon Hill neighborhoods. We are within walking distance to Newbury Street and the Copley Place Mall and an extraordinary array of cultural, civic, academic and medical facilities; Historic Fenway Park, Boston Symphony Hall, The Museum of Fine Arts, The Huntington Theatre, Boston University Medical Center, and MIT.

The Gilded Lily has been thoughtfully restored, renovated and modernized with history, comfort and privacy in mind.

Our 2 suites have marble mantles, crown moldings and newly renovated private baths. They share a private self-catered kitchen that is stocked with continental breakfast supplies. This affords you the flexibility to dine at your leisure in the privacy of your own room.

The suites are also equipped with wireless internet access, flat screen TV and DVD players and are centrally air-conditioned.

The Garden Suite overlooks a lovely brick-walled courtyard garden and fountain and the spacious Parlor Suite has a comfortable living area, charming sleeping alcove and a small dining table that overlooks the tree-lined Claremont Park.

The two suites can also be joined together making it a great choice for families or friends traveling together. We top it off with a common roof deck that has a spectacular view of downtown Boston; a great place to relax after a long day of site seeing, business meetings or running the marathon.

We are 2 blocks from the Mass. Ave Orange Line Subway & Bus Stop, 3 blocks from the Green Line Symphony Hall Subway Stop and a 10 minute walk through the beautiful Southwest Corridor Park to the Back Bay Amtrak and Commuter Line Station.

Logan Airport is a 15 minute taxi ride with a fare of about $22 without tip. If you are traveling light and have the time you can always take the subway.

If you are traveling by car, we are blocks from the Mass Pike Prudential Center Exit and just 5 minutes from Route 93.

Please note that the guest suites at the Gilded Lily are on the 2nd floor of our 4 story brick townhouse. We have no elevator.
