Warm, spacious, and beautifully decorated rooms within this historic farmhouse dating back to the 1800's make you feel at home. Only 2 miles from downtown Lexington, our stretch of the road is a peaceful world away, quiet, timeless, and natural, yet convenient for every activity, daytrip, and attraction that the Great Valley offers.
Frog Hollow was saved and completely renovated just 2 years ago by your hosts David and John, who have had fun creating a unique and wonderful new home while staying true to its historical context. And now, nestled high among the trees on the property and with a wooded hilltop view, our new Turtle Creek Cottage gives you the option of an independent and romantic weekend or longer, with full kitchen, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, TV, VCR,CD player, board games and use of the outdoor Thermo Spa.
Frog Hollow offers 3 spacious guest rooms all with private baths, queen beds and luxurious linens and includes a 3 course Gourmet Breakfast.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the whole house, including upper and lower porches and the outdoor Hot Tub. There is a brochure rack of local interest, current magazines, and a lending library. Occasional spontaneous happy hour with the hosts and other guests.
Turtle Creek Cottage sleeps 2, has a fully equipped kitchen and bath, hand painted wall mural, indoor and outdoor fireplace, firewood, patio, porch and deck, TV/vcr, cd player, board games, and breakfast basket delivered each morning and full room service included. Use of the outdoor Hot Tub at Frog Hollow.
Frog Hollow Bed and Breakfast has become known for its casual elegance. David has a real flair for decorating and has designed an eclectic and comfortable feeling, using antiques, original art work, luxurious textiles, and making great use of all the spaces in this large home. Closing in what had been screened sleeping porches in another era, he created a bistro cafe for breakfasts upstairs and his Toad Hall giftshop below. Using his talent to maximize he has gone for the gold in creating Turtle Creek Cottage, your very own completely whimsical tiny house. Raised in Puerto Rico, David loves to cook and his breakfasts often have a Spanish flavor. He is always on the lookout for new and delicious recipes. David and John have been together for over 18 years, owning several businesses, living in Naples, Florida and North Carolina before relocating to Lexington. John has an artistic character and continues his own business of restoration of antiques and artwork. Guests often comment how well we work together in the kitchen. We enjoy doing volunteer work in the community and recently provided the Grand Prize in the drawing at The Virginia Gay Olympics.

Cancellation:
Cancellations received less than 7 days from arrival will be charged one night. Holiday weekends and October cancellations received less than 7 days from arrival will be charged the entire reservation price. No Shows will be charged the entire reservation price. If reservation is cut short, you will only be refunded $50 a day excluding holiday weekends and October.
