" ADIRONDACK MOUNTAINS
Doctor's Inn has a large, welcoming kitchen, the warm heart of the home where family and friends like to gather and spend time together while preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. The home also features an oversized Adirondack-style living room, with a cheery wood stove in a fieldstone fireplace. The living room is filled with bookshelves and a varied selection of books. The Doctor's Inn provides a relaxing atmosphere where you can kick back and enjoy the wonderful mountain air. The home was originally built as the place where research doctors from the Trudeau Sanatorium lived, and was originally designed in the Nineteen Hundreds by architect George Schrader. The home's wrap-around porch allows guests to enjoy the restorative powers of the fresh mountain air, just like in the old days. Doctor's Inn is near town, but is off the main road, letting you enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. It's a great place to get away from it all in the Adirondacks. The Doctor's Inn has a 3-day minimum, in season. So the next time you plan to visit the Adirondacks, stay at the Doctor's Inn!
