" QUIET DESERT BED AND BREAKFAST
Desert Trails B&B offers both the quiet of the beautiful Tucson desert and the proximity to the rest of what Tucson has to offer. On a cloudless night you can see the Milky Way and a million stars. Our Tucson bed and breakfast sits on 3 acres of natural desert adjoining the national park, with the Rincon Mountains as our dramatic backdrop. The desert cactus here blend into the mesquite trees of the Tanque Verde Valley. We give our guests a great place to stay, relax, and enjoy the wonders of the Sonoran desert - you can hike, go birding, or horseback riding just steps from our front door. Desert Trails B&B is just five minutes from the Wentworth Trail Corridor, and there are several other great trails that start less than two miles from us - the Douglas Spring Trail and the Broadway Trail. We're also just an hour by car from Mt. Lemmon, where you'll find the southernmost ski slopes in the US. Our neighbor gives horseback riding lessons and can take guests on trail rides, and there are several local bike shops that offer mountain bike rentals. The home is a Southwest style brick adobe hacienda, filled with rustic wood and high ceilings. The floors are a mixture of spanish tile, hardwood and brick, and the B&B is decorated with pieces by William K. Hartmann, a well known local artist. Our grounds feature courtyards, wide patios, picnic tables, and a pool where you can cool off in the summertime. Desert Trails Bed & Breakfast is close to Saguaro National Park East, and is just 15 miles from downtown Tucson, near Speedway Blvd's eastern end.
Rates are all inclusive and there are no additional charges for tax. All rates are based on double occupancy and include a full breakfast with the exception of the Guesthouse where breakfast is optional. Single occupancy available.
