We are a service-oriented b&b inn, offering five intimate guest accommodations. The main floor suite and four upstairs rooms feature full private baths, antique furnishings, original artwork, and wide honey pine floors. Start your day with a candlelight breakfast. Fresh fruit, home-baked goods, and a hot entrée are always a part of the Deer Brook experience. Enjoy the beauty of Woodstock’s historic homes, covered bridges, fine art galleries, shops, and restaurants. We are centrally located between the Killington ski area and Dartmouth College. In winter, ski, snowmobile, and snowshoe, or just sit back in a relaxing horse-drawn sleigh. Spring and summer bring a new face to the area as the Green Mountain Horse Association trails come to life. The mountains, streams, and lakes offer hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, and biking. Dining: The Woodstock area is host to many casual and fine dining establishments. We are happy to assist you in making the right dining choice whether it be for the great American hamburger or a fireside world-class meal in a truly memorable setting. We will handle the reservations- you can just enjoy! We are also quite pleased to offer our own table d’hote on select weekends. Our passion for food as well as creating just the right ambiance for a special dinner led us to this offering. The prix-fixe multi-course dinner will be organized around “what the market has to offer”. All this by candlelight on our favorite Wedgwood dinnerware. Please inquire regarding details. Shopping, Antiquing, And All That Fun Stuff As with dining, the area is teeming with retail stores featuring everything from local food and craft products to imported clothing and home fashion items. There are also many fine art galleries and antique shops right at our doorstep. We can help you map out the right shopping itinerary or you can just explore on your own. The choices are endless! Make yourself at home in one of our five intimate guest rooms filled with the character and charm of an 1820's farmhouse. Our spacious guest rooms have original honey pine floors, private baths, ceramic tub-shower combinations and in-room vanities. Each room has original watercolors, subtle stenciling, and soothing color schemes. Experience Vermont at its best.
