Coconut Cottage is close to Hilo in the heart of the Puna district - in the Leilani Estates. We're only 7 miles from an active lava flow - see the molten lava flow down towards the sea.

We're also close to beautiful black sand beaches and turquoise blue waters at Kehena Beach, where you'll often find sea turtles and frolicking dolphins. There are also many outdoor recreational opportunities, from hiking and mountain biking to eco-tours.

We're just 3 miles from Pahoa town - with some great restaurants and cute shops, and 2 miles from Lava Tree State Park.

Isaac Hale State Park is 5 miles away, with thermal hot pools, surfing, and world-class snorkeling, and the world-famous Volcanoes National Park, is just 20 miles from here.

We serve a gourmet breakfast each morning, with authentic Kona coffee, fresh tropical fruit, homemade bread, yogurt and much more on our large Tommy Bahama-inspired bamboo lanai.

POLICIES

Deposit:
A one night stay deposit is required to secure reservation. Please notify us of any special dietary needs at the time of your reservation.

Cancellation:
If you cancel two weeks prior to your arrival date we will refund 75% of your deposit. No refunds will be given for shorter cancellations. Holidays are an exception to this policy, (please see holiday information on our website). Should your stay be longer than one week, we require a 50% deposit for the length of the stay and the balance is due at check-in. Early check-outs are non-refundable, unless your room can be re-booked.

Smoking:
