Chetco River Inn is the ideal place to relax. Our 35 acres offer great opportunities for fishing, birding, hiking and swimming.

Hang out with other guests or go off on your own - it's up to you. Spend a few hoursreading or river watching, take a hike or hang out on the deck with our other guests.

If you feel like a little exploration, take a short drive to to Boardman State Park, Brookings, Harris, or Whaleshead beaches, or Cape Sebastian.

Every season here is unique. Spring brings a rainbow of flowers in Sandra's garden, and migrating birds. In the summer, you can escape the coastal fog for a swim in the river, or take a hike in the pristine Kalmiopsis Wilderness. Autumn brings fall colors to the maples, and you might even see a river otter or great blue heron.

In the Winter, Mother Nature brings us long, soaking rainstorms - the perfect time to relax by the fire. Even in winter, though, we often have brilliantly warm and sunny days from a peculiar weather phenomenon known as the "Chetco Effect". As a guest at the Chetco River Inn, you'll find yourself in the middle of an outdoor recreational paradise.

Your visit to Chetco River Inn will be a unique experience. Our B&B is farther into the forest than the power company wanted to go. Our Southern Oregon B&B, completed in 1987, is an environmentally sensitive lodge that coexists peacefully with its natural surroundings. All the modern amenities use alternative energy sources, including solar, generator, batteries, and propane.
