Charles Bass House Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful, Queen Anne home in South Boston's historic district, and is featured on the local walking tour. The house was built in 1904 on Main Street (where you'll find many houses buit at that time) by Charles Bass.

The Charles Bass House B&B is just half a mile from downtown South Boston, where you'll find some great places to eat and boutique shopping. We're also an easy drive from a number of great historic and recreational options.

We'll make you feel at home while you're staying with me - you can relax in the common area of the inn, or retire to your own private guest room. We have a piano and stereo for guest use in our living room. The inn also features satellite televison (including HBO) in the guest suite and upstairs sitting area.

We also have a chocolate labrador retriever, Snickers, who would love to spend time with you if you're a dog lover.

Relax in the afternoon on the sun porch, or soak away your troubles in the evening in our hot tub on our spacious deck. You can also enjoy our shady side yard, surrounded by a white picket fence, where crocus flowers bloom each year in October.

During your stay at The Charles Bass House Bed & Breakfast, you'll have your own suite, including a large bedroom with big windows opening onto our shady side yard.

Next to the bedroom, there's a sitting room where you can watch television or just relax, and a sofa that can be made into a full-sized bed.

We also offer a guestroom upstairs, including a full-sized bed and shared bathroom. There's a television in the sitting area across the hallway.
