A broad staircase and an elegant entry welcome you to this beautiful historic home. Cedar Crest Inn embodies Victorian splendor, with rich hardwood paneling, and an elaborate decorating scheme that displays our home's unique qualities and features, only surpassed by Asheville's famous Biltmore Estate itself. The inn is filled with fine details, including the stunniung parlor woodwork. The Baroque-style fireplace mantel is surrounded by fluted columns, medallions and richly carved crests. The study (once upon a time the Gentlemen's Room), drawes you in with a rich, golden oak paneling and tiered mantelpiece, tall windows, and an entertaining shelf for seasonal displays. You can settle into a comfy chair near the fireplace, and listen to music from the beautiful, tiger-oak player piano! You can also lounge on our veranda in the afternoon, sipping lemonade, herbal tea or cider and fresh home-made cookies.
