LUXURIOUS EXECUTIVE APARTMENTS IN A RESTORED 1890'S VICTORIAN
A home away from home, our executive suites are in an architecturally updated and restored 1890's Italiante Victorian in The Castro, the geographical center of San Francisco. This beautifully appointed lodging has two suites, one with a view to downtown and the bay, one opening into our private garden, and provides guests with a sophisticated, comfortable setting - a mixture of the best of contemporary furniture, original art, crafts, plants, and accessories from around the world.
THE UPSTAIRS SUITE: In the LIVING ROOM are a sofa (which opens into a queen-sized bed), two lounge chairs, a writing desk and chair, a working fireplace, a television with cable service and VCR, and an amplifier/tuner and CD player.
The BEDROOM has a firm queen-size bed, two dressers and ample closet space; there's also a full bath. The fully-equipped, EAT-IN KITCHEN HAS A LARGE DINING TABLE and chairs, and such amenities as dishwasher, microwave, and clothes washer/dryer. There is a full BATHROOM. We request that no smoking be done in the Suite, but one may smoke outside on the patio or balcony.
THE GARDEN SUITE: Similar in size to the first suite, this one has a LIVING AND DINING ROOM which looks out on and opens into our garden. The separate BEDROOM has twin beds which can be made up as one large king-size or as two separate singles. There is a FULL BATHROOM. This suite has a private entrance from the street. The furnishings are similar to the upper one, including a sofa/bed in the living room.
These meticulously maintained Suites have their own telephone and a second line for computer modem use. Our fax machine is available as well.
The Suites provide the comforts and conveniences of home for both the business and vacation traveler, and can accommodate up to four people.
Please note that this is a self-sufficient Suite; it is not a bed and breakfast inn.
The Suites are within walking distance to a variety of MUNI buses, subway, and trolley lines (renting a car is not necessary for city use). However, street parking is usually possible within a block or two of the house, and there is a commercial garage nearby. Within a few blocks' walk are a variety of restaurants, shops, groceries, the historic Castro Theater, and much more.
Joel and Sam, the owners, are knowledgeable about San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, and we can make reservations for you, recommend places to go, restaurants, sightseeing ideas.
We can even stock the refrigerator for you with some advance notice!

The minimum reservation is for 2 days (or 3 for holiday week-ends)
50% deposit is required in advance
Cancellation more than two weeks prior to arrival will result in full deposit refund
Cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival will result in lost deposit (if suite not re-rented)
