The Castle Bed & Breakfast sits on lovely Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, close to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

Our Ocracoke Island bed and breakfast has both an eleven guestroom bed and breakfast and The Castle Courtyard Villas, one-three bedroom luxury condos on the same property.

Each of our rooms is simply and elegantly decorated with period antiques, and features a private ensuite bathroom. Our guest rooms are all non-smoking.

We also have an outdoor pool and pool house with a sauna and steam shower, where you can relax after a day exploring the Outer Banks.

The Castle at Silver Lake Bed & Breakfast is also the perfect venue for business travelers or a meeting or company retreat, with a conference room on-site with Internet-ready computer. We also have wifi internet access on the property, so you can keep up with business or friends back home.

Ocracoke Island has many great activities available to the visitor - relax on our fantastic sand beach, rent a jet ski or kayak, see the island from above on a parasail, or take Philip Howard's Ghost Walk for some great local history.

We also have a beautiful light house, a civil war site, and the Ocracoke Preservation Museum.
