Casa Santiago Bed & Breakfast is a 19th Century historic home, which has been completely renovated and brought up to dats. Your hosts live on-site in Merida's central city Santiago neighborhood. We're just two blocks from Santiago Square with its beautiful church, and four blocks from Merida's main square.

Casa Santiago B&B features 4 spacious guestrooms. Each room has a private bath, individual a/c, and a ceiling fan to cool you ff on a warm afternoon. Our guestrooms all connect to our great room, which is bathed in natural sunlight from our large Moorish windows.These look out onto a central court filled with flowers and a huge mango tree.

The bed and breakfast also has a fully equipped kitchen, with an icemaker/dispenser and sink which dispense purified water. Each bedroom also has purified water to eliminate the need for environmentally unfriendly plastic bottles.

We also have a beautiful, walled rear courtyard with a 12 foot by 18 foot swimming pool (5 feet deep), a bougainvillea-covered deck, and beautiful tropical gardens featuring many different kinds of flowers and palm trees. And there's a lawn where you can scrunch your toes in the cool grass on a hot summer day.

The courtyard has rocking chairs and a glider where you can relax and read a good book in the shade, listening to the ambient noice from the squares close by.

There's no lifeguard for the pool, and so we do not allow minors under age 14 to stay at the property - please contact us if you have any questions about this. Smoking is allowed outside only.
