In the historic Casco Viejo neighborhood of San Felipe, Panama, you'll find a beautiful upscale boutique hotel - Casa Sucre is a renovated 1873 five bedroom guest house for those visiting our historic city.
With its unique architectural history, picturesque buildings, cathedrals and churches, historic ruins, museums, varied and diverse cultures, and wonderful restaurants, guests of Casa Sucre Boutique Hotel will have the best of the city waiting just outside our door.
Our rooms include:
The Panama Room: queen size postipedic bed, air cponditioning, private bath with shower, cable television, free wifi for your laptop, small refrigerator, microwave, second floor balcony view.
The Calicanto Room: a spacious Master Bedroom with private bath, queen size posterpedic bed, a/c, cable TV and free wifi, small refrigerator, microwave, second floor balcony.
Sucre Uno & Sucre Dos: One bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2) and the second bedroom with queen size semipostipedic bed and a full size bed (sleeps 3 total). Sure Uno and Sucre Dos include a/c, free cable television, free wifi internet, small refrigerator, microwave, second floor balcony. Sucre Uno and Sure Dos are adjoined by a bathroom with shower.
We also offer three apartments (our apartments are available for short and long term rentals):
Loft Apartment: One of the jewels of the renovation, the Loft Apartment has restored calicanto walls in the living room and restored calicanto walls in the upstairs loft bedroom giving the apartment a peaceful ambiance.
The Crema Apartment: 525 square feet with A/C, new stove, refrigerator, queen size bed, queen size sofa sleepers, restored antique tile, granite kitchen counter tops from Italy, new bathroom fixtures and walk in-shower. Apartment opens to a full size patio. Cable TV and Wireless Internet available for your laptop.
The Rojo Apartment: Similar to the Crema Apartment.
The building that houses the boutique hotel was originally built in 1873, and goes by the historic name of Casa Sucre. "Sucre" is the French word for sugar or candy (sucrerie). "Casa" is Spanish for house. While staying at Casa Sucre Boutique Hotel, we hope you will have a home-sweet- home experience.
