At Casa Divina, we serve delicious home style meals and offer comfortable accommodations for those who want an adventure by day and an elegant and comfortable place to rest by night.

Efrain is an experienced bird guide and a talented carpenter, and has demonstrated his love for wood in each of the hand-built cabins as well as almost all of the wooden furniture in the lodge.

We're a family-run business with high standards in service for our guests and also for our employees. We value those that work with us greatly. Each of our staff members is happy to be here, and has been with us for an extended period, making the atmosphere here warm and family-oriented.

We welcome families that travel together, as well as guests with young children. We have two small children of our own, and we know what a great opportunity and advantage it is for children to experience a broader sense of the world through travel. We also support community tourism by working with other family-run businesses in the area.

Our meals are a healthy blend of traditional Ecuadorian cuisine and international fare. And don’t forget our amazing desserts. Each evening (available all day for those with an extra sweet tooth) a different sweet inspiration is served from the ovens of the Sweet Goddess Bakery. For those who can’t get enough of our cooking (or just want to stay in for the day) we can also provide lunch, snacks, drinks and - of course - coffee and tea all day long.

Casa Divina sits on 6 1/2 acres of secondary cloud forest. We have three two-story luxurious finished wood cabins. Each of our guestrooms has a private porch with hammock, spacious living quarters and an elegant bathroom with full-size bathtub. Each room can accommodate from 1 to 4 guests.

In the main house, you can relax with a good book in the reading nook, take your meals in the family style dining room, and enjoy the great music and our house cocktail, the Divina Capirinia, at the bar.

On the property, you'll also find two short self-guided hikes that offer great lookout points. You will be amazed by the birdwatching possible in our slice of forest. Tanagers, quetzals, toucans, hummingbirds are at your window making it possible to birdwatch even from bed!
