We are pleased to welcome you to the Biltmore Village Inn Bed and Breakfast, just a stone's throw from the gates of the Biltmore Estate, and a short walk from the shopping, restaurants, and attractions of Biltmore Village of Asheville, North Carolina.
Built in 1892 by George Vanderbilt's lawyer, the rooms of our bed and breakfast inn have been completely updated, blending period décor with modern comforts: whirlpool tubs (most double) and separate showers in every en suite bathroom, guest-controlled thermostats for the central heating and air conditioning in the main house, fireplaces in all the rooms (and in several bathrooms), cable TV, and phones with dataports.
The huge porches invite you to sit and enjoy the mountain views, the multitude of birds, and the breeze that always blows across our hilltop.
The inn holds our collection of antique furnishings, paintings, and accessories, which represent 25 years of searching. Appropriately for a Queen Anne Victorian house, many of the pieces are in the Queen Anne style.
This is our third bed and breakfast inn, and our aim is still the same: We specialize in stress reduction. We have afternoon tea either on the porches or by the fireplace in the parlor. Full breakfasts include a number of specialties like Parmesan soufflé with an apple and bacon confit, raspberry croissants in an almond custard, frittatas, freshly-baked breads and muffins, and specialty coffees and teas. We're here to guide you on your expeditions to the exciting Asheville area, and to introduce you to our town's wonderful restaurants.
In the house:
Biltmore Suite
A Ralph Lauren faux bamboo poster bed graces the bedroom of this suite, which has bay windows in both rooms, a marble bathroom with whirlpool and separate shower, and fireplaces in the bedroom and sitting room. $240 weekdays, $265 weekends and high season. $35 for each extra person.
The Alabama
This ground-floor room features a king-sized bed and huge bathroom with two-person whirlpool tub, separate shower and elaborate fireplace. $250 weekdays, $275 weekends and high season.
The Impressionist Room
The large room has a king-sized poster canopy bed with comfortable sofa and chairs. The large bathroom has a fireplace and two-person whirlpool tub. $250 weekdays, $275 weekends and high season.
The Thomas Royden Room
A charming room with queen-sized poster bed and fireplace, and a cozy bathroom with whirlpool. $220 weekdays, $245 weekends and high season.
In the cottage:
The Cottage Room
A cozy room with queen-sized bed and fireplace, and a large bathroom with heart-shaped two-person whirlpool and fireplace. $150 weekdays, $175 weekends and high season.
