The Big Blue House bed and Breakfast is an upscale bed and breakfast in the heart of Tucson, close to The University of Arizona.

We offer great value for your money - from our front door, you can walk to great dining and shopping, including the bohemian shops on Fourth Avenue.

Our Tucson bed and breakfast was originally built as a show place for Anna Ramsey/Gardiner in 1899 - built of solid redwood and maple by Tucson's Rondstadt family (of whom Linda Rondstadt is a descendent). Jose Maria Rondstadt owned and lived in the home for twenty one years until 1933.

We've restored the house, preserving the beautiful hardwood floors and woodwork, and adding upscale furnishings and modern amenities.

Each of the rooms has new furniture and fixtures, and our ground floor rooms have private entrances. Rooms have a/c and air purifiers for your comfort.

Staying with us for more than a few days? We provide free laundry facilities, so you can pack lightly, even for an extended stay.

We also provide free hot and cold bottled water.

There are many great things to do in Tucson, including the Desert Museum, skiing and hiking on Mount Lemmon, the wonders of Colossal Cave, the gardens at Biosphere II, and many other great outdoor activities.

POLICIES

Cancellation:
Reservation cancellations require one week notice.

Check-In:
3-6pm. However, we are more than happy to work with your time of arrival. Please! Call us and let us know when you intend to check in.

Children:
Due to the historic nature of the house, we do not encourage children under 12 years.

Pets:
Because it is free standing, pets are considered for only room four "Cottage". No other rooms are allowed pets. Restrictions apply! Call for details.

Smoking:
All rooms are non-smoking and guest will be charged for cleaning if they choose to smoke in a room, however, each room has a nice outside porch
