Berwin Oak Guesthouse is a peaceful place for men to enjoy the privacy of a lush tropical setting in beautiful Central Florida on the Gulf coast, just minutes from St. Petersburg and Tampa. The entire complex is completely surrounded by a privacy fence, perfect for clothing optional sunbathing.

One side of the courtyard has a bar, wood-burning fireplace & large patio for sunning and the other side has large citrus trees and a deck with a hot tub, 2-person swing and umbrella table/chairs, all under the shade of the tall, stately "Berwin Oak". We are located in gay-friendly Gulfport, Florida which is on the southwestern edge of St. Petersburg. Historically, Gulfport preceded St. Petersburg in time and has many interesting homes & shops. Gulfport also has its own beach on Boca Ciega Bay. The shops & beach are within a few blocks of Berwin Oak. The Gulf beaches are only 10 to 15 minutes away & Tampa is just across Tampa Bay via the Howard Franklin or Gandy bridges, approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

Imagine lounging in the warm Florida sun. You look around at the lush tropical foliage, the tapestry of colors, your eyes finally stopping on your companion lying on the lounge next to yours.

You begin thinking about moving over to the shady side of the courtyard, under the beautiful "Berwin Oak". The bubbling warm water of the hot tub lures your body, aching from the long trip down from the North.

Later, the two of you will be going out to visit some of the interesting shops in Gulfport and dine at the many good restaurants in the area. After the sun sets across the bay, the two of you will be making the short drive to partake of the sights and sounds taking place in the many gay bars that are located within short drives from your "home away from home".

Enjoy nearby, The Pier in downtown St. Petersburg, the new Bayfront shopping mall, the Salvadore Dali museum, the many Gulf beach communities (St Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, etc.).

Our accomodations consist of -

A large (1000 sq ft) 2nd floor air-conditioned, beautifully decorated apartment. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, dining room, full kitchen, bar, small screened porch.

A beautiful furnished roomy air-conditioned ground-floor apartment with queen-size bed, living area with queen-size sleeper/sofa, dining area, full-size kitchen, large bath & dressing room.

A smaller, but also beautifully furnished kitchenette with queen-size bed, large sofa and bath with large walk-in shower.

All apartments are equipped with TV, VCR, DVD player and private phone line (no out-going long distance).

Gas barbecue grill is available for guests.

Exercise room nearby with Schwinn Airdyne stationary bicycle & weight machine.

Screened room, at rear of owner's home, with TV (cable & HBO) is for the use of guests & owners.
