Bed by the Stream Bed & Breakfast is a cozy ranch house with a beautiful historic barn, situated on 5 acres of streamside property in the Hudson Valley. We are conveniently located in Ulster County on the border of Saugerties and Woodstock in upstate New York. 

Our stunning, wooded bed and breakfast property is surrounded on three side by the Plattekill Stream. Stop by anytime to walk in beautiful gardens and breathe the freash air of the country.

Enjoy an unforgettable hot country breakfast on our sun porch overlooking the stream. In summer cool off in our in-ground pool.

We are a non-smoking household that welcomes children and pets.We can even board horses, please call for details.

Ulster County and the Hudson Valley are rich with things to do in every season, and there's no place that's more true than in and around Saugerties and Woodstock. Antique buffs are busy year round. Outdoor enthusiasts will love canoeing, tubing, tennis, golf, cycling, and horseback riding in the warmer months, skiing and snow tubing in the winter, and the most scenic hikes in the Northeast every season, with special vistas during autumn.

Visit Woodstock to shop or have a fireside dinner. This legendary artist colony offers unique stores featuring crafts of local origin. The entire area is known for its fine dinging, owing to our proximity to the Cullinary Institute, and Saugerties and Woodstock each feature a quaint, small town movie theater.

POLICIES
Deposit:
Single nights stays require payment in full at time of booking. We require a 50% deposit to confirm stays of 2 nights or longer, with the balance due 14 days prior to your arrival.
Cancellation:
If cancelling 2 weeks or more before your arrival date, you can receive a refund less a $50 fee, or apply the entire amount to a visit within the next year. If cancellation is less than 2 weeks prior to arrival, there can be no refund. If you leave earlier than intended, you are responsible for the nights you originally booked.

Pets:
All cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered. All pets incur a $20 per pet per night charge. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets while outdoors.  When left alone, pets must be crated. We have 2 loaners. A $100 deposit is required on arrival.This is refunded, by mail, after housekeeping has inspected for damage.
