Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, our lovely Queen Anne Victorian is located on one and a half acres, away from the road in the quiet, residential Chestnut Historic District. Our Asheville B&B offers an oasis with beautifully landscaped grounds, gardens, and waterfalls, just a 1/2 mile walk from the heart of Asheville, NC.
Charlton Heston and his wife, Lydia, once called The Beaufort House their Asheville residence, and often walked to their theater downtown. The Asheville Community Theatre is still active in town, and puts on great plays all year long.
This grand home is the ideal place to relax and recuperate from your busy daily life. Enjoy our mountain sunsets from our wrap-around Victorian porch, stroll through our beautiful gardens, or walk to the nearby excitement of the arts, culture, food, and music of vibrant downtown Asheville.
You can also explore the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains by hiking, biking, kayaking, horseback riding, and a numer of other outdoor activities.
Our gourmet two-course breakfasts each morning feature fresh, seasonal, and organic ingredients. We support local growers, and can also tailor your meal to your own dietary requirements - vegetarian, vegan, low fat / low sugar, food allergies, or other dietary requests with advance notification.
