We've worked hard to create the perfect setting for our guests - Barrens at Bay is more than a vacation rental - it's a home away from home.

Each of our Nova Scotia vacation rental cottages welcomes you with the warmth and sense of solace we've found here for more than twenty years - it's a great place to restore your own balance and tranquility.

The cottages are set among two hundred acres of rolling hills and forests, set between 1,500 feet of private waterfront and historic barrens. Each cottage is entirely private, with no power lines in site to ruin the lovely views.

Each cottage has a kitchen, wood stove, hot tub, screened porch, barbeque, VCR, and DC player for guest use, and is uniquely decorated to give our guests a sense of home.

Our vacation rental cabins are on the Nova Scotia coast between the towns of Guysborough and Canso, on the shores of beautiful Chedabucto Bay.
