The Tay Valley is a wonderful area for outdoor activities, including walking, cycling, white water rafting, canoeing, golfing, fishing or just touring around the countryside.
Aberfeldy itself has a number of popular attractions, like the Distillery and the intriguing Watermill Bookshop / Gallery (named best UK independent bookshop), as well as other galleries and a wide range of interesting shops.
Also nearby, you'll find the village of Kenmore, at the head of Loch Tay - during the summer months, take a boat trips on the loch from Aberfeldy to Kenmore.
Balnearn itself is located on the edge of town, just two minutes by foot from the "Birks o' Aberfeldy". Balnearn is a Victorian-style property on its own private grounds, including an off-street private parking lot.
