Utne magazine ranked our neighborhood as one of the hippest in America. Diverse and a bit bohemian, it's the real New Orleans. A neighborhood filled with hipsters and history that you won't see on a bus tour, our better-known neighbor, the French Quarter, is a scenic stroll or three-minute cab ride away. We invite you to come stay with us in our historic bed and breakfast, which has been transformed into a live-in work of art. Immerse yourself in old fashioned New Orleans' comfort at Sweet Olive Bed and Breakfast. Over the last several years, when artist Stuart Auld wasn't busy creating Grand Illusions for production companies shooting movies in New Orleans (and elsewhere) like Runaway Jury, Unchain My Heart, Legends of the Fall, and The Big Easy TV series, he was busy transforming the Sweet Olive into a masterful work of live-in art Throughout the house, his talent for blurring the line between reality and imagination ensures that around each corner there will be another visual treat. Dale Irvin and David Johnson are now the owners and "curators" for Stuart's masterpiece and look forward to welcoming you into this live-in work of art.
