Welcome to Artists Inn Residence Bed & breakfast, our home that was originally 2 1900 townhouses, now combined to create a single, beautiful and welcoming home. Elegant architecture meets modern luxury to make Artists Inn Residence the perfect place for your next stay in the District of Columbia.

Start your day with a wonderful breakfast in our sunny dining room. Then stroll through the B&B and see some local artists' work. If you're musically inclined, you can play a song on our 1925 Steinway baby grand,. Or just relax - snuggle up and read a book in the library, or soak your cares away in your own jacuzzi tub.

We have a great location, in the lovely, lively historic Dupont Circle district of Washington, DC, only 2 blocks away from the Dupont Circle Metro Q Street Station. From here, you can easily reach anywhere in the Metro DC area.

Just a block west of us you'll find Connecticut Avenue, a fine dining mecca filled with cute cafes, galleries and boutique stores. Walk 2 blocks east to 17th street, with a number of gay bars and clubs, and some great casual restaurants.

Just a couple blocks further, and you're right in the middle of Adams Morgan, Logan Circle and the famous U Street Corridor for some great night life. Or take a ride on the Metro, by bus, or take a taxi, and in moments, you'll be at the White House, the Smithsonian, or the National Monuments to Georgetown.

We offer 6 different guestrooms - Dali, Ellington, DaVinci, Shakespeare, K. Hepburn, and Mozart. The decor is varied, from from Fifteenth Century Italian Country to classic American.

Each room has high-speed wifi, dataports, HD television with digital cable, access to our DVD library, gas fireplace, whirlpool bathtub, phone, heated floors in the bathroom, and much more.

We also offer complimentary parking for guests.

POLICIES

Deposit:
A deposit agreement of 50% is required to reserve a room. Deposits may be made by VISA, Mastercard, or American Express. Full balance is then due at check in. Personal checks are welcome, however, FULL payment is required and must arrive at least seven business days prior to your arrival.

Cancellation:
Because we are a small business, short notice cancellations are EXTREMELY costly to us. As such, refunds of deposits for cancellations less than fourteen days in advance of arrival will not be made unless we are able to fill your room. Exceptions will be made only for emergency situations and will require documentation.

Check-In:
2:00-9:00 pm daily. Please let your hosts know your anticipated arrival time when you make your reservation. Special arrangements must be made in advance for late arrivals.

Check-Out:
In order to prepare rooms for incoming guests, room check-out time is at 11:00am sharp. For your convenience, baggage storage is available should you need to depart or arrive earlier than stated times and you are welcome to enjoy the public space at the Inn, until your departure or check in time.

Children/Pets:
We love children and family pets, but because our home is decorated with art and antiques throughout for you to enjoy, we regret that we cannot accommodate young children, pets, OR adults who behave like children or pets. We would be happy to recommend children friendly accommodations as well as pet boarding facilities.
