Welcome to Arthurs Cottage on Hornby Island, a blend of classic Canadian cottage and eclectic French Country design. We're just one hour and two scenic ferry rides from Vancouver Island's Comox Valley.
Our vacation rental cottage offers the perfect private, romantic retreat where our guests will enjoy the natural beauty and peace of Hornby Island. Often called the "Hawaii of the Northern Gulf Islands", our island paradise offers:

We're also fortunate to share Hornby Island with eagles, orca whales, sea lions, butterfly and deer. And nature lovers will enjoy hiking, biking, diving, sailing, kayaking and more.
Our island community is home to a wide variety of artists, artisans, musicians, farmers - some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.
After a day exploring the island, fall under the quiet charm of the cottage. Secluded and self-contained, it's the perfect place to unwind in cozy warmth. Our Hornby island cottage is brightened by skylights and a whimsical chandelier. The large outdoor deck is surrounded by bamboo and honeysuckle.
Read a great book, listen to the soft rustle of tall trees and the crackle of the fire, or take a glorious nap, lulled by the peace and quiet of our small, friendly community. You'll sleep deeply in our cozy new queen size Sealy posturepedic bed and down duvet.
We proudly serve healthy, homemade breakfasts, using food grown as close to Hornby Island as possible.
