The Andrew Andrew Whelan House Bed & Breakfast is a Grand Victorian built in 1862. With a mature garden filled with fruit trees and a quiet hammock, this beautifully appointed home offers gated security and "country quiet" only five minutes from downtown San Francisco.

We're just a block from the heart of the Castro, but on the quiet side of Market Street. Enjoy the gay San Francisco nightlife, and walk back here for a quiet night's sleep. Over the years as a referral-only, three guest room inn, our guests have repeatedly commented on the lovely, well situated, and quiet house.

Guests appreciate the one block walk to the MUNI underground public transit to the financial district and Moscone Convention Center. Tourists appreciate the historic F-line trains running down Market Street and connecting to the Cable Cars to Fisherman's Wharf and to Union Square.

A San Francisco resident for over 40 years, your friendly host Andrew originally hails from New York. He owned and operated a large executive search business and has travelled extensively as the art and artifact filled house shows.
