Welcome to the new A.G. Thomson House, set among the pine trees high above Lake Superior in Duluth's Historic Congdon Mansion District. A.G. Thomson House is a beautiful, 1909 Dutch Colonial home, combining historical detail and modern comfort.

Enjoy the warmth of our historic fireplace, and smell the fresh breezes off of Lake Superior on our grand veranda, or snuggle up with a good book in our bright sunroom.

A.G. Thomson House is the perfect romantic getaway, where you can relax with your partner in one of our hammocks, or watch a movie together in your room. Rekindle your romance here in beautiful Minnesota. Come to A.G. Thomson House, and retreat, relax, reconnect, and rejuvenate.

We offer seven unique, classic guest rooms, four in the Main House and three in the Carriage House, including our deluxe Lake Superior Suite.

Each of our guest rooms has a private bathroom and shower, air conditioning, fireplace, HD television, DVD player, and a CD player. There's also wifi internet access so you can keep in touch with your friends and family back home. Our beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets and fine bedding.

Six of our rooms have a double whirlpool tub where you and your partner can relax together. Or enjoy views of the sunrise over our big lake.

In the evening, enjoy a glass of complimentary wine with your hosts, or have a cup of our special blend of coffee in the morning in our signature A.G. Thomson House luxury robes.

We also have thick, luxurious towels, and you'll find some fine chocolate truffles waiting for you upon arrival.

POLICIES

Reservations:
A 50% deposit (100% for a one night stay) is required at the time of your reservation.

Cancellation:
A full refund of your deposit (less a $75 cancellation fee regardless of when the cancellation occurs) will be offered for cancellations 30 or more days in advance of your scheduled arrival. We regret that we will not offer any refund of cancellations of one night or multiple night stays less than 30 days prior to arrival. This policy subject to change without notice.

Check-In:
3:00 - 6:00 pm. Due to scheduling, please notify us in advance if you anticipate a later arrival.

Check-Out:
11:00 am. An earlier check-in may be available for an additional fee, but only by advance arrangement.

Children:
We welcome guests age 16 and older.

Pets:
We are the ultimate animal lovers; however for the safety and convenience of all of our guests, we regret that we do not allow pets.

Smoking:
The A.G. Thomson House is proud to offer a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, on guest room balconies, indoor public areas, nor anywhere on our grounds where it may impact other guests or pose a fire hazard. We will assess a $400 cleaning fee to your credit card for any violations of our no smoking policy.

Parking:
We offer convenient and secure off street parking on our grounds located behind the Inn. Upon arrival, pull in our driveway to the right of the house and this will take you to our secure parking lot.
