We are located in the Northeast corner of the  Monadnock region of Southern New Hampshire, surrounded  by all the things that give New England a great quality of life: clean rivers and lakes, mountains and hills, an abundance  of wildlife, interesting arts & culture, fascinating, diverse and friendly people. 

Built in 1810, The Adams House a Federal Twin Chimney Center Hall Colonial rests on gentle acreage on Rte 9 between Hillsborough and Keene in The Monodnock Region of New  Hampshire. Our proximity to Pierce Lake, Steele Pond, cross-country conservation trails, the Franklin Pierce Homestead and major highways allows us to provide more  than just a comfortable room.

We  proudly offer in our Country Kitchen an expanded Homemade Breakfast, including home baked specialties, and the cookie jar  is always full at The Adams 1810 House.

Our formal living room with a Fire  Place is for our guests’ enjoyment, along with a Center Hall stairway and fire placed Dining  Room. Or enjoy our 4 acre yard and gardens or woodland trails.

The Adams Room features a Queen Size Four Posted Pineapple Mahogany Bed, Fire Place and Private Bath.

The Hearth Room features an Ornate Queen Size Iron Bed, 96" Hearth, and Private Bath.

The Mission Room: Stained Glass Lighting and Extra Futon make up this room. Private Bath just outside your door.

The Inn is located on Route 9, Between Hillsborough (5 Miles West) and Keene (20 Miles East) at the intersection of Rt 9 Keene Rd and River Road. The White Twin Chimney Center-Hall Federal Colonial sits well back from the road, but can be easily seen on a high knoll.
