Our Anchorage B&B is just 20 minutes on well-paved main roads Anchorage International Airport. AAWESOME (Anchorage Alaska Wilde Edge Sanctuary Observatory Mountain Escape) Retreat is in the majestic hillside community of Bear Valley on 13 1/2 acres.
Our unique boutique style Anchorage, Alaska home was built and designed to provide an optimal guest experience by your hostess and resident artist, Debi Cole. Our large windows make it feel like you're outside - and even if it's frosty and snowing outside, you'll enjoy perfect temperatures on our radiant heated floors.
Our large suites feature sultry decor, dazzling view decks, and private bathrooms, all designed to accentuate the amazingly beautiful environment outside our doors.
Each of our guest rooms offers one king size or two twin beds, beautiful mountain views, satellite television, and clock radios. Our king suites also include a refrigerator. Each of our private baths has elegant classic marble surrounds, and thick, luxurious towels, as well as with light kimonos and colorful sarongs for lounging comfort.
You'll also find a clock radio and CD player, atmosphere enhancing lighting and darkening curtains, and deck chairs to take outside. We also have a guest phone line for free local calls.
Our guest suites also include a special mood-elevating atmosphere, invigorating mountaintop windswept ionized air, and sparkling well water for drinking, bathing and cooking. Some suites have a toaster oven and/or microwave oven.
After a long, wonderful day exploring the Anchorage area, enjoy late-night snacks while settling in for some sky viewing in our Vortex Lounge. Or stroll through our Anchorage home enjoying original artwork, including our mosaic mural bathrooms, and our great views.
Our floors are allergy-free painted concrete, with wool rug accents.

Cancellations:
A processing and administrative fee will be charged for ALL cancellations.
Cancellations must be made a minimum of 14 days in advance of arrival date to avoid charges for the balance of the full reservation.
The 1st night is not refundable.
As a courtesy, your non-refundable payment may be applied toward a future reservation, and is transferable to friends and/or family within one year.
