" GAY OWNED INN ON A QUIET, TREE LINED STREET
IN THE CASTRO - STEPS FROM GAY BARS "

24 Henry Guesthouse, a historic bed and breakfast inn in San Francisco's gay Castro District, was originally constructed in the late 1800's. The Great Fire of 1906 stopped just short of our neighborhood, leaving this historic structure intact.

The previous owners renovated the property in the mid 80's, opening what had been a private residence as a new gay San Francisco B&B. Walter, your current host, was originally a guest at 24 Henry Guesthouse, visiting often when his travels brought him to San Francisco in the late '80's and early '90's.

We serve a continental breakfast to our guests each morning.

24 Henry Guesthouse and our sister property, Village House, are in the heart of San Francisco's Castro District, offering both the peace and quiet of a tree-lined side street and the easy access to everything the Castro has to offer. We're just three blocks from Castro Suite and the historic Castro Theater, great shopping, casual and fine dining, and the F Line, historic street cars that run down Market Street from the Castro to the Financial District, Civic Center, The Embarcadero, and Union Square. From there, you can catch a trolley to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.

24 Henry Guesthouse offers free wifi access for our business traveling guests (or for anyone who wants to stay connected to the web and email while on vacation). We also allow local phone calls for free, and rooms include a phone and voicemail service.
